Job Description

Our client is an established commercial general contractor with an office in Asheville, NC.

They are seeking an experienced Project Manager with relevant project experience in either commercial, industrial, or public construction projects. The company has plenty of projects coming up in the Asheville area and needs to start expanding their team to continue their upward growth.

Title : Project Manager

Start Date : Flexible

Location : Asheville, NC

Pay Range : Depends on experience, but a rough range for the base is $95-135k

Market Sector : Commercial and Light Industrial

*Prior experience as a Project Manager for a General Contractor is required*

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needs
Set performance goals and deadlines
Manage project documentation, project schedule and deadlines
Assist with estimation and bidding process
Effectively communicate project progress to key stakeholders
Strategic planning, maintenance of the project budget, coordination and management of the overall project schedule, and maintaining positive vendor and client relationships.
Oversight of the successive phases of projects.
Subcontractor bidding and contract negotiations for projects.
Project team selection, management and development.
Overall safety and scheduling for assigned projects.
Institute and oversee all procedures required for the work to be completed according to schedule.
Interaction and communication with owner, architect, engineers and subcontractors.
Adhering to company standards while completing projects on time and under budget

Qualifications:

Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent work experience
4+ years' experience being a Project Manager or similar on commercial projects directly for a general contractor
Experience with commercial or light industrial related projects is required
Proficient with Procore and Microsoft Office
Driver's License and good driving record
