T&T Pet Care Services is seeking a reliable and responsible Part-Time Van Driver to join our team for transporting pets between throughout Dane County. This position is ideal for someone who loves animals and enjoys driving. As a pet transport driver, your primary responsibility will be ensuring the safe, comfortable, and timely transportation of pets of all sizes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport dogs between two doggy daycare locations and to appointments in Madison.
• Ensure pets are properly secured in the vehicle and comfortable during transit.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times.
• Follow all traffic laws and ensure the safe driving of the vehicle at all times.
• Communicate with daycare staff to coordinate pick-up and drop-off schedules.
• Handle pets of all sizes, providing a calm and comforting environment during transport.
• Assist with loading and unloading pets from the vehicle as needed.
• Report any issues or concerns with the vehicle or pets promptly to management.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to safely handle and transport pets of various sizes and temperaments.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Prior experience working with animals (preferred but not required).
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and assist with pets, sometimes up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to sit and drive for extended periods of time.

Schedule:

• Part-time position predominantly in the late afternoon to early evening.
• Ideal candidates will be available Monday-Friday.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly pay, based on experience.
