We are seeking a proactive and motivated Operations Specialist Team Manager to lead our dedicated team of Operations Specialists and Multi-Skilled Claim Specialists within our Home Claims division.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Home Claims Operations Support, you will take ownership of the Home Claims Knowledge Management System, as well as driving operational excellence through incident management and process improvement initiatives, with a focus on increasing effectiveness and efficiency across the Claims teams. You and your team will also be on hand to support with Event Response activities.
This is an exciting role for an experienced team leader who has extensive experience in end-to-end home claims management.
Responsibilities include:
Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to align with risk incident and process improvement frameworks
Support with Event Response during Catastrophe season, including deployment and oversight of Multi-Skilled Specialists
Deliver operational reporting, insights and root cause analysis for the leadership team to support the management, investigation, response, rectification and closure of incidents and issues
Develop and execute initiatives that drive continuous improvement across Home Claims
Foster a positive team culture through people engagement initiatives, communication plans, and recognition programs
Support and upskill the team to deliver on key priorities and support strategic initiatives, ensuring adherence to compliance standards
About You
Extensive experience in end-to-end home claims management
Substantial experience in team management and leadership
Strong knowledge of Insurance Claims disciplines, practices and products
Customer focussed team player who thrives when juggling multiple tasks and projects
Capable of driving both strategic change and operational level uplift
Demonstrated ability to support Risk Incident management
Excellent internal stakeholder engagement and management skills
