A prestigious law firm located in Uptown Dallas is seeking an Intellectual Property/Patent Legal Assistant to join their dynamic team. This full-time, on-site position offers the opportunity to support up to three patent prosecution attorneys and play a key role in the continued success of their thriving IP practice.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in intellectual property and patent prosecution.
• Strong working knowledge of PCT and foreign patent prosecution processes is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with USPTO procedures and filing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, file, and finalize a wide range of documents with the USPTO, including provisional, utility, design, and PCT applications (e.g., transmittals, declarations, powers of attorney, assignments, information disclosure statements, maintenance fee payments, etc.).
• Draft and finalize correspondence with clients and foreign associates.
• Maintain and manage attorney dockets for U.S. and international patent matters.
• Ensure deadlines are met and filings are completed with accuracy and efficiency.
