Key Responsibilities: The candidate should have knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem including Cloudera, Hive, Impala, Spark, Oozie, Kafka, HBASE, etc. They should be able to understand technical issues in a multitenant platform-as-a-service environment and collaborate with peer teams for problem resolution. Customer service and communication skills are essential for coordinating with tenants and service teams. The platform is fast-paced and evolving. The candidate should be passionate about automating processes and simplifying operations, with effective communication skills and the ability to learn new technologies. Responsibilities include: Translating requirements into architecture and design documents for implementation by the development team. Defining architecture by selecting appropriate technologies, assessing impact, and evaluating feasibility. Developing strategies to solve business problems. Ensuring solutions adhere to enterprise standards. Supporting applications or technology stacks as needed. Essential Functions: Providing innovative solutions to meet operational requirements. Supporting infrastructure, managing technical issues with internal and external teams. Collaborating with business and technology partners to translate requirements into solutions. Learning and guiding the implementation of new products and technologies. Applying Agile practices and playing the product owner role. Managing platform capacity, utilization, and forecasting. Maintaining Hadoop platform stability and supporting production activities. Providing platform support, incident, change, and problem management. Developing monitoring tools and diagnostic scripts using tools like Splunk, Tableau, Pepperdata, CM.
