About the Position

Global Christian Relief (GCR) is looking for a motivated individual to help with the day-to-day responsibilities within FP&A team. This is a remote position and is primarily focused on providing support to our Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. Other tasks may include assisting other teams when needed. You must be a high energy individual who is flexible working independently and in a team. The ideal candidate has experience in Accounting or Finance and is a Christian, reliable, inquisitive, organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated.

This is a paid, part-time, non-exempt position, working between 20-28 hours per week, for a summer internship with the potential to lead to part-time work in the Fall.

Primary Responsibilities

This role is responsible for the following duties, but is not limited to:
Assist during monthly financial reviews
Build and update reports using Salesforce & Einstein Analytics
Participate in 2026 Budget process
Learn and support fundraising functions of GCR
Provide analytics and KPI analysis for key drivers
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Personal Qualifications include:

Relief.

Other qualifications include:
Be able to commit to at least 20 hours a week from May to August/September 2025
Be a Junior or Senior in college, majoring in Finance or Accounting.
Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with ERP or CRM tools;
Knowledge of financial modeling; understanding of financial statements analysis.
Possess superior communications skills, both written and verbal
Demonstrate excellent organizational skills
Be able to organize time efficiently, prioritizing the most urgent tasks, while working well under tight deadlines
Be able to follow written and verbal instructions
Be able to work creatively to solve problems
Excel at tasks that require keeping many small details straight
Work well in a group setting with other staff members
Be able to work quickly and efficiently
Demonstrate a willingness to learn on the job
Be able to work independently and sometime with little to no oversight

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
The following abilities are required for the position:
This job operates in a professional ministry environment. The work environment is usually moderately quiet; however, variations in noise level may occur when the employee attends events or functions out of the office.
While performing duties of the job, the employee will frequently be required to sit or stand; talk and hear; and use hands to handle or touch objects or operate computers and other office tools, i.e. copy machines, printers, scanners, and projectors.
Work for extended periods of time at a computer, requiring the ability to send and receive information with necessary optical, auditory, and manual dexterity.
Use a keyboard and mouse to enter, retrieve or transfer words or data information and/or move from screen to screen on the computer to view information.
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comprehend and speak English.
Display the reading skills necessary to proofread written material.
Must be able to lift lightweight objects (1 to 10 pounds) with no repetitive bending, stooping or reaching overhead.
