Job Description

As a Armed Security Guard - Aero Space Patrol in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a valued member of the Allied Universal team, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a leading aerospace and defense location. In this armed patrol position, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication and professionalism. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities, offering you the opportunity to utilize your skills in a dynamic and mission-driven setting. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas within the location.
• Document and report any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or hazards encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during critical situations.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Follow all protocols for handling and carrying firearms in accordance with Allied Universal and client-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Level III Armed Certification required for Texas roles.
• Active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
