Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional with a passion for providing top-notch administrative support? Nelson Mullins, an AmLaw 60 Law Firm, is growing our Columbia office and we are looking for a friendly, professional, and proactive Administrative Support Assistant to join our team!

A Day in the Life

The role of an Administrative Support Assistant is dynamic and ever-changing, adapting daily to meet the evolving needs of our clients. Responsibilities include a variety of administrative tasks such as preparing expense reports, filing, completing documentation for new and existing deals—including post-closing processes—scanning, entering time into our database, organizing and saving files in our document management system, processing incoming and outgoing mail, and drafting or finalizing select legal documents.

You will leverage your prior administrative support experience to proactively identify and implement new ways to assist the team. You bring strong organizational and prioritization skills, and your colleagues recognize you for your courteous demeanor and can-do attitude. Thriving in a fast-paced environment, you remain composed under pressure and consistently take initiative. You work well independently and are known for your proactive approach—never idle and always willing to reach out to colleagues to offer support.
